The process of Air Spading involves loosening the soil to promote root expansion and ensuring that the tree has access to the nutrients needed to encourage healthiness. While Air Spading, we use a soil sample and replace all of the proper nutrients. Then we add compost, charcoal, and soil amendments and stir them in with air pressure to create optimal soil conditions for that specific tree. When a tree has ideal soil conditions, it’s like having a strong immune system; the tree will better tolerate pests and disease, ultimately preserving it.
