Visitation Disclaimer
At Pinelawn, the safety of those who visit the grounds are of utmost importance. We have laid out the following visitation guidelines to help protect guests.
- We encourage visitors to wear skid-free shoes and stay off cell phones while walking. Please pay attention when walking as cemetery grounds have uneven terrain and potential tripping hazards. Burial sections can become muddy after rainfall, and many surfaces become slippery when wet.
- During the winter, we strive very hard to effectively remove snow and ice. However, the weather is unpredictable and walking surfaces may pose slipping hazards.
- During the summer, it become excessively hot and humid. Plan ahead in order to dress appropriately and stay hydrated.
- There are funeral processions as well as heavy machinery and construction equipment operating in the cemetery. Please look both ways and be mindful as you cross roads, and avoid sections where active burials are taking place.
