What would you like to share about your loved one’s service and dedication within the military?
Served sonar operator on destroyer escort USS Blackwood and submarine USS Rock and other vessels in the Pacific theatre, including Solomon Islands, Marianna Islands, etc. Photo in beard taken November 1944 at Pearl Harbor on return from war cruise in western Pacific.
What is your favorite memory of your loved one? This does not have to be related to his/her military service.
A great sports expert and fan of football Giants, baseball NY Giants and later the Mets and boxing. A loving husband and true role model for his sons. Proud career of 25 years at American Bank Note Company.
