What would you like to share about your loved one’s service and dedication within the military?
My father was a Rifleman in Co G 15th Infantry, stationed at Fort Benning, Ga. He served from 1954 to 1962 in which time he was honorably discharged. My father received the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal during his time in the service. My father loved serving his country.
What is your favorite memory of your loved one? This does not have to be related to his/her military service.
My father always new how to get places without getting us lost. He never used a map or asked for directions. I attribute this to his time driving for the MTA on Long Island when we were growing up. I also loved watching my father bowl. He had such a wicked spin, that always stood out for me.
