What would you like to share about your loved one’s service and dedication within the military?

My father wasn't in the Army very long, due to him getting hurt. The Army did discharge him honorably. He was also proud of his service, and loved his country. Because of my father, I ended up having a great career in the United States Marine Corps, until I was hurt and medically retired.

What is your favorite memory of your loved one? This does not have to be related to his/her military service.
Honestly, there are so many memories of my dad he was an amazing father, and I was blessed to have him as a father. I'll never forget his face after I graduated boot camp in Paris Island, he was so proud. It was an awesome road trip home, and being able to spend time with him.
