Honey Bee Painting Experience 2021

At Pinelawn, it is important for us to find new innovative ways to advocate for the environment in our community. We were able to accomplish this at our Honey Bee Painting Experience by celebrating the importance of honey bees with the 142 attendees including Girl Scouts, TRIBE Home School Group, and Pinelawn & Community Families.

At this event, guests were able to see the hives up close (home to 250,000+ honey bees), hold drones, taste fresh honey from the comb, and paint boards that will become the honey bees’ new homes. We were excited to see our guests immerse themselves in the world of the honey bee and understand how essential these insects are to the environment!
