Veteran’s Legacy Project
January 1, 2023When someone we hold dear passes, it becomes incredibly complicated to process these emotions. While grief is a normal reaction to losing a loved one, it is important to ensure you are coping healthily.
Pinelawn Memorial Park and Arboretum, in collaboration with COPE Foundation, will continue offering free, monthly online Grief Healing Workshops throughout 2023. By providing the tools and strategies for healthy coping, the goal is to be a resource that will help guide families through the journey of processing grief. Those who wish to participate can register on the first of every month through Eventbrite.

Grief Online Healing Workshop- “The Soundtrack of your life”
7 pm – 8 pm
We all have a soundtrack that marks the many chapters and snapshots of our life experiences. Music can be like a time machine transporting us back to those places we’ve lived, relationships, vacations, car rides, and various adventures. This workshop is a musical reflection of your stories, and the role music played in those moments with your loved ones. There is also a listening relaxation/wellness portion where Josh will play live soundscapes as you work, listen, and write. Click Here to Download the Soundtrack Prompt Worksheet.
