What would you like to share about your loved one’s service and dedication within the military?
My Mom joined the Marines in order to release men to fight in WWII. She was stationed in Camp Lejeune, New River, N. C and later assigned to Second Headquarters Battalion, Headquarters, U S Marine Corps Henderson Hall, Arlington, Virginia. She was such a dedicated Marine that she joined the local Marine Corps League. She worked her way up to Commandant and was so proud to march in various parades all decked out in her uniform.
What is your favorite memory of your loved one? This does not have to be related to his/her military service.
I was so proud of my Mom for bringing up 4 boys by herself, retiring from Amityville Post Office, and being such a dedicated Marine her whole life.
