What would you like to share about your loved one’s service and dedication within the military?
He was a Vietnam Veteran who had been shot through the head by a NVA sniper. My uncle was MIA and was rescued. He had a plate in his head and was paralyzed on the left side. He was 18 years old when he sustained his injuries.
What is your favorite memory of your loved one? This does not have to be related to his/her military service.
Before his injury, we were very close. One of my favorite memories as a while was that he would put me on his feet and dance with me.
